If you are new to this business, chances are you are going to struggle your butt off. It seems that everyone who first gets into internet marketing
thinks that it is going to be really easy to succeed. There are tons of people spraying the internet with get rich quick schemes and false promises. Once you have been exposed to enough of those lies, you actually start to believe some of it.
When you actually try building your own niche website though, you realize that there is a ton of information to learn. There are hundreds of little technical things that seem rather insignificant. Yet, these little things hold back your progress toward making money until you figure each one out. That is a very time consuming process.
Having a mentor accelerates the learning process big time. Can you think of a better way to learn how to do something other than having someone teach you firsthand? It’s a no brainer in this business. If you want to find success in your first year in this business you had better find someone to teach you what works and what doesn’t. You need to learn what you should be spending time on and what you can forget about. These things take forever to learn on your own. Trust me. I know.

Anyone who has been in this business for a while will tell you that it is very easy to lose focus. It is really easy to get started on too many projects at once without ever finishing one properly. Once you get derailed like this it becomes very difficult to get yourself back on track. A teacher will help keep you focused on finishing one thing before you get started on another.
You will have a million questions that only an experienced mentor or teacher can answer
There is so much to learn with this business. There are hundreds of little technical things that you will need to figure out. You will have a million questions along the way. How else are you going to find honest answers to your questions? You will find answers posted online. But, you will never be sure who is telling the truth or what motives hide behind the person dishing out that information. You will constantly second guess what you think to be true.
Some people work better in a team instead of working 100 percent solo
One of the big attractions to becoming an internet marketer is the allure of doing it 100% by yourself. Once you actually start working on the projects by yourself you might find that it isn’t all that it is cracked up to be.
Some people can’t deal with that level of isolation. They need other people to work with. They need people to bounce ideas off of. They need a
colleague or mentor to reaffirm a decision about which fork in the road to take.
By working with another person on your projects, you will see the projects get finished much sooner than they otherwise would. It is nice to know that if a mistake is made, that there is someone else to take part of the blame. It is also nice to have someone to share in the glory of achieving great success with a project.
How to find a good teacher or mentor?
I guess you will have to trust your instincts in finding a good mentorship program. I would be very careful of people who want to charge you up front for something. That is how scammers work. The scammers have to charge you up front because once you find out it is a scam you would never give them any money. Look for an internet marketing program like the one I offer where there is no downside risk. My mentorship program is easy to get into if you are ambitious. Plus it won’t cost you anything to learn. You can only make money with it. You can’t lose any money with it.
Another thing that scammers like to do is to charge you for something for just a while and then it becomes free. They do this because they know you are going to quit part way through. They figure you will never stay with it long enough to get to the free part. Beware of memberships. There are some legit ones but there are many scams as well. The legit ones are less expensive than the scams believe it or not.
When you first get into the internet marketing business you tend to think that you are going to be able to succeed without help from other people. Sooner or later though you will come to the realization that you need quality advice. You will realize that you really should work with other people in order to get your online business to reach a reasonable level of success. Find a mentor whose personality fits well with yours and use them like you would use a college professor to learn what you need to know in order to be successful.
