As an experienced internet marketer I can tell you that moms really make good internet marketers. Something about them just seems to fit well with the skill set required. I guess maybe it has something to do with the fact that many of these women are highly educated. Although they are highly educated, they often choose to stay home and raise kids when the kids are relatively young.
This creates a bit of a dilemma. You end up with an intelligent highly educated woman who wants to be productive in the outside world and not just around the house. This causes stress because these women know that if they just had the time, they could be out earning some decent money to help contribute financially to their household’s income. Some of these mothers eventually learn that their new lifestyle as a stay at home mom fits really well into the internet marketing business.
In the internet marketing business you don’t need to have a set schedule. You can put in as much time or as little time as you have available. You can work at 2AM if you so desire. You can work for three hours during the middle of the day if you want. Internet marketing doesn’t care. That is one of the greatest things about this line of work.
It does care how dedicated you are to learning though. It is not the easy way to riches that you see advertised all over the internet. That is a bunch of bunk. The truth of the matter is that internet marketing takes real work and real thought in order to grasp the concepts involved. You have to concentrate on what you are doing until you learn what really works and what does not work.
Another great thing about internet marketing is that you probably have all the tools you need to do it already. All it takes is a decent computer and a decent internet connection. The rest of the tools for the job come from your brain and your determination to apply them. What other industry could you work in that provides that low of a level for entry? It doesn’t require a college education, but you better be intelligent. It doesn’t require any special talent other than your ability to get yourself to do some boring work.
Speaking of boring work; that brings up a good point. There are parts of this kind of work that are incredibly boring. If you can get over that fact or find someone else to help you through the boring parts then you are more likely to succeed. Oh yeah. It does help if you can type also. There is a lot of writing involved with most types of internet marketing. So if you don’t like to write, it probably isn’t for you.
Otherwise, there is no reason why a typical intelligent stay at home mom can’t learn how to do this as a way to earn an income for herself from home. Will you get rich doing it? Probably not. Are you going to easily earn a full time living from it? Not likely. What you will do is earn enough money to call it respectable part time employment. You will probably find out that it is a lot of fun. If you really enjoy it and apply yourself then you can actually earn a full time living from it. Many people do. They are dedicated people who love to make money with the internet though. They are not your average internet marketer. They put in a lot of time.
If you were really willing to buckle down and work really hard at building affiliate and niche websites for money, you absolutely could make a full time job out of it. You must remain determined though. Much of what you do in this business takes a really long time to pay off. When the payoff comes, it is well worth it. But, you have to work really hard and be willing to wait for pay day.
