First off, if you are just another teenager or kid in his early twenties looking for a way to make money from home because you are too damn lazy to get off your ass and work then this business is not for you. If you are looking for a source of easy income so you can lay around the house all day playing video games then keep looking. Don’t even read my material because I hate you guys. You fricken slugs. Someday you will learn a valuable lesson about life that includes having an honorable work ethic.
This business takes actual effort and commitment. All of those programs that you see advertised online that tell you different are full of crap. They are trying to sell you what you really want which is a get rich quick scheme. These guys know that. You are the suckers they are looking for. You will buy their eBooks and their software and then never actually do anything with them. That is how you guys operate. You are willing to spend a few bucks trying to find that one thing that only the experts know about that is going to make you an overnight success. You people really make me laugh.
When are you going to realize that nothing in life is that easy? You are going to have to work hard at this just like any other business. If you aren’t willing to work hard to learn the ropes then you will fail. I guarantee it. Then you will blame somebody else for your troubles and move on to something else while you keep secretly searching for that one get rich quick idea that is going to make you.
This business takes a certain skill set. It also takes a person who possesses certain intrinsic personality characteristics. First and foremost you have to be willing to study hard and read between the lines. You need to be committed 100% to learning this business thoroughly. You need to be somewhat computer savvy. You don’t need to be a computer geek but you will certainly need to learn some pretty technical aspects related to certain software programs.
There are two ways you are going to really get this done. You are either going to have to do the technical stuff yourself or else hire someone else to do it. Very few people are able to hire others to do it because in order to know who to hire and what to do you really have to have experience doing it yourself. Naturally then most people need to learn how to do everything technical themselves before they decide to outsource it all. You will find very few exceptions to this.
So if you aren’t computer savvy then you are fighting an uphill battle. It is still possible, but much more difficult. The best approach here would be to take your time and learn the technical stuff first. Learn how to register or buy a domain. Learn how to setup a blog. Learn how to get sites to rank in the search engines first. Learn what methods you can use to get traffic to a site. Learn what the search engines like. All of this stuff is somewhat technical in nature and will require time to understand.
The other really important characteristic that a person in this business needs is self motivation. If you cannot get yourself to do things that you really do not enjoy then this business is not for you. You need to be able to put your head down and focus on doing what needs to be done. It is not all fun and games. There is real work involved here.
That is why so many people give up on this business. You need to be committed to putting in the time to learn what you need to learn in order to reach a reasonable level of success. If you aren’t willing to commit to it 100% then don’t bother trying. The temptation to quit will be strong at some point. You will need to the ability to persevere to get through it.
In this business, the rewards for your efforts come way down the road. You work on building something with a good foundation today that will not even begin to pay off for at least six months. That is how this business works. If you aren’t willing to wait at least that long then don’t even bother trying this business. Go look for another opportunity elsewhere.
